Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March on Washington 52 Years ago today 8/28/1963

On this day in 1963, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. addressed about 250,000 people attending the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Thank you Dr. King for your great sacrifice. The same gratitude is extended to the entire King Family as well as to Dr. King’s members of SCLC and NAACP and all contributors to the Civil Rights Movement.

Your legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of many. One day we will get to the mountain top together as a unified nation regardless of the color of our skin, religious beliefs, educational level or economic status. R.I.P.
